Dear Barclays, this is what Prosper means to me!!
For the past month or so, I have been watching a movie every Monday at Century Cinemax, Acacia Mall because of their half price promotion. Well 10K is not a half of 18K but in this economy I will take what I can get.
Yesterday I watched Ben Affleck’s Gone Girl and with such a great plot, it could easily work for a legit series and have more success than the current Scandal season. Yuk Yuk, don’t ask why I am still watching. Okay, I’ll give you a clue- Jake!!
I don’t want to be a spoiler because I loathe those but I will say that it has made this last quarter very bearable. I was late because I had a coffee date with Carol where we ended up ordering other foods and she insisted on ordering a salad only to ask why her chicken was taking so long since she had ordered her meal before my plate of fries. My thoughts were screaming ‘Uhhhhhhh babe, you do know you ordered a chicken salad Right? With emphasis on the salad bit that is.
Tyler Perry totally nailed his role in the movie looking sleek and sh!t. He could Def Gerrit any day any time anywhere *sips water*. The kind of mental that Ben Affleck shows is almost sexy in a very you-need-to-be-admitted-to-Butabika kinda way. Also how mental is Amy *don’t remember her real name*?
I can NOT wait to watch The Hobbit 3 in December and Hunger Games in November. Am I the only one who did not know that there was another Hunger Games? What hunger situation has not represented for Pete’s sake? Someone stop white people may be. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is going to be released this Friday so I totally can’t wait for that.
People are always emphasizing the importance of gratitude and since my addiction to cinemas is way up there, there is NO way I could have made it without this half price arrangement.
